- Standard copy paper
- Cellophane - Commonly used for disposable product packaging, so I highly recommend just looking around your home for it
- Coloring Utensils - depending on what color you want to make your cores
Tips & Tricks:
- Since this card is a little more complicated, I made an easy version and a hard version. This way you can choose based on your crafting skills! The hard version is closest to the original card. If you want to make that version, I recommend following the video above.
- The windows can be cut out with a pair of scissors, but they're much easier to cut out with an art knife!
- Since the characters were extremely difficult to cut out, I put them into cores so that they would be easier to cut out. Just cut around the whole image and it'll fit perfectly behind the window!
- For the hard version, make sure to use permanent marker to color the cellophane. Only permanent marker will stick to it and allow it to dry after before handling.
- I used a pair of detail scissors to cut out the smaller pieces in the template. I didn't realize this until I started crafting, but detail scissors are a specialized pair of scissors that make cutting small shapes/details MUCH easier, so I highly recommend getting a pair if you do a lot of crafting! I use them for all of the small pieces in all of my projects.
- Please note that all of the print outs for the interior of the card do not exactly line up with the card. There is meant to be excess for you to trim off.
